Extremely off topic. 'Bette in Britain'.

Don't suppose anyone has a recording of this Radio 4 programme about Bette Davis. Extremely unlikely I know! Interested to know whether anyone heard it at any rate!!!

Now even further off topic!
Have a listen to this disc(available at Amazon).

It is of Bette Davis in the musical "Two's Company",in which she appeared in 1952.
Considering that the creative team included Vernon Duke, Ogden Nash,Sammy Cahn & Jerome Robbins AND of course Miss Davis, could it fail, you're right it could (and did, in three months!)
The clips that you can listen to on Amazon convince me that it it is so bad it's almost good!
However,so far I hav resisted the temptation.
BTW,Bette's son cleared up a question in a recent interview. He said her family always referred to her as BettY,NOT
BeTT.
So there you go,some more useless trivia to bung up your head!
Bye Now.

Thanks for the thought about 'Listen Again', David. Had thought of that already. Sadly I was over the 7 days when I got round to trying this and although there was still a 'cached' link to the programme I ended up with something about a recording of Round Britain Quiz!

Mrs Lovett, thank you too! I am aware of 'Two's Company' but I have not yet dipped a toe in the water to hear it, it, but certainly will at some point At least you dragged the topic back to musical theatre. Yes 'Betty' for pronunciation every time. Glad to hear this from her family too!

You might have guessed that I am a bit of a Bette Davis fan. Attended a special 100th birthday tribute to her at the NFT on 5th April (also the date of my 43rd birthday BTW). Come to think of it the BFI may be able to help with this elusive radio programme.
